If you enjoy a challenge, like to be active and feel passionately about the work we do at Kiya Survivors you will be interested in our ACTIVE KIYA initiative
Active Kiya aims to build a community of dedicated Kiya Survivors supporters who are willing to put themselves through rigorous training, tough challenges and feats of endurance, all with the aim of raising money for our centres in Peru.
We will be taking part in three different sporting events each year. For each event we will form a team of competitors who can support each other by sharing tips and advice, not only on training and fitness but also on the fundraising aspect of each challenge. In 2015 we are planning to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro, run in the Brighton Marathon and take part in the London to Brighton Cycle-ride.
Here is what one of our Active Kiya members had to say:
“Fundraising with Kiya Survivors was so much fun! Its a perfect way to combine achieving personal goals, getting fit and raising money for a really worthwhile cause. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make a real difference in 2012!” - Andrew Cave, Chasqui Challenge Participant 2011
