KIYA ESPANA
Seeing a child and their family turn the corner and become a family after months of therapy and support to help them learn to love their children, to see them actually accepting and loving them. It’s a special thing.

SUPPORTING PERU AND DEVELOPING A REFUGEE PROGRAMME IN SPAIN
Working within the international school and expat communities in Spain to gain support for our Peru Programmes and developing a programme to support disadvantaged children in the Granada district.
Kiya Survivors Founder and CEO, Suzy Butler, has been relocated to Spain to launch Kiya Espana.
Kiya Espana’s aim is to spread the word about our work in Peru through the International School and expat communities and start a small support programme for disadvantaged young people from the local community where she has been based in Granada.
The pilot workshops showed Kiya there was a need for support in the area and although things are currently suspended due to COVID-19, Kiya hopes to continue with this project when possible, in 2022.
