VOLUNTEER
We certainly wouldn’t have got this far without the crucial support from participants in our volunteer programmes!

VOLUNTEER WITH US
Kiya Survivors has been running successful Volunteer Programmes in Peru since 2001.
Over the years, different volunteers of all ages and from all backgrounds have contributed a great deal to our projects whilst having a fantastic and often life changing experience.
Volunteering with Kiya Survivors offers participants a unique opportunity to gain an insight into working with children with special needs, experiencing true Peruvian society and culture in a safe and supportive environment.
If you come with patience, enthusiasm and an open mind and heart, you will have an experience that could change the way you look at the world forever. Rhiann Jamieson, Volunteer Coordinator
Thorough preparation from our Volunteer Coordinators in the UK and Peru will help ensure your trip is tailored to suit your needs and provide the experience you are seeking!
Basic Spanish skills are helpful but not essential and we provide Spanish courses as part of many of our programmes.
Previous experience working with children with special needs is an advantage but not a requirement; our training allows people from all backgrounds to develop new skills and use their talents to make a real, hands on difference to those who really need it.
The Kiya Survivors experience is so much more than just a volunteer trip abroad! Our personalised programmes will allow you to dive wholeheartedly into Peruvian culture ensuring you gain as much as you give and discover as much about yourself, as you will about this magnificent and diverse country and her people.
