Hi, my name is Yessica and I recently turned 13. I live in the Rainbow House with my little sister Paty and my best friend Matilde.

Our last day at Mama Cocha today. Owen, Harry and Henry were surprised to find that the bathroom was not going to be white as expected but blue!

So today is Friday which seems unbelievable, the time seems to be going so quickly! We started the day with a lovely breakfast and then headed up to the Mama Cocha Centre.

After travelling by plane from Cusco to Lima, a 5 hr wait at the airport, flight to Piura and then 4hr drive to Mancora on the bumpiest roads we’ve ever experienced due to El Niño!

A really rewarding and eye opening week in the valley. We were all very tired after our long journey but were excited and keen to get stuck in to the projects.
